Debt help

The Insolvency Practitioners Association offers a range of exams for student members which include:-

Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency “CPI”

Certificate of Proficiency In Personal Insolvency “CPPI”

Certificate of Proficiency in Corporate Insolvency “CPCI”

The Debt Advisor “TDA” have two members of staff who have the passed the CPI exam, Karen Francis and Laura Wright with Karen Francis winning 1st prize for students based in England and Wales.

Both team members work in the IVA team of TDA based in Old Trafford.  Laura and Karen both believe that the study course provided by NTI Insolvency which included 5 days of courses plus mock exams and feedback from tutors, prepared them well for the exam which this year was particularly tough as this was the first intake who have had to get to grips with the new insolvency rule changes.

It is now onward and upwards for Karen and Laura who can now contemplate the Joint Insolvency Personal Insolvency Qualification with a view to becoming Personal Insolvency Appointment takers. Bev Budsworth, MD of The Debt Advisor comments, “we have always invested in our teams and given them the opportunity to make a career in debt solutions and insolvency. It’s the least we can do for members like Karen and Laura who work really hard and are incredibly loyal.
