Job Purpose:

  • Ensuring proper procedures in place to achieve smooth running of the administration of debt management plans
  • Owner of the system documents
  • Develop training packs and procedures

  • Dealing with your own client base, completing correspondence and any client enquiries by phone
  • Responsible for setting up new plans, chasing replies from creditors and general housekeeping of all accounts you are responsible for
  • Required to deal with any legal issues which could possibly arise
Key Responsibilities:
  • To manage a team of administrators ensuring debt management plans are properly managed
  • To check and sign out all work completed
  • Ensure that case reviews are undertaken every six months
  • Pass all document changes to document custodian and ensure documents are kept up to date
  • Produce all relevant MI for department head and for sales and operations meeting
  • To ensure the teams training needs are met
Experience, Skills, Knowledge
  • You must have had experience working in the debt management industry and at least several year experience in a customer service environment
  • Compliance with FCA regulation will form an important part of your role and you will need to get to grips with the new FCA changes and work with other managers to ensure DM is operated in a compliant way
  • You must have had experience managing a team
  • Good communication skills are essential and you should be enthusiastic about working towards helping clients get debt free
  • Your written English must be excellent and you must be computer literate and have experience using word and excel. You must have the ability to use a database system
  • You must be educated to a minimum of GCSE level or equivalent

Hours of Work:
  • Monday to Friday 9:00 – 5:30pm (one shift per week 10:30 – 7:00pm and 1 in 3 Saturday shifts from 9:00 – 1:00pm)
