Debt help

Award-winning, debt management company, The Debt Advisor, has been shortlisted for two national industry awards.

The Manchester-based practice has seen Rose Marsh shortlisted for ‘Debt Counsellor of the Year’ and Tracey Jones for the ‘Rising Star’ award at the nationalCredit Today Awards 2012.

Commenting on the firm’s double shortlist, Bev Budsworth said: “We’ve managed to establish ourselves as a major, ethical player within the debt management industry through our commitment to fully understanding the root cause of the debt problem and helping our customers through it. It’s fantastic to see that The Debt Advisor’s hard work continues to be recognised by the industry. For years, we’ve been tenacious in our crusade to promote an innovative and flexible approach to personal insolvency.”

“These shortlists are testament to the hard work and dedication of all my staff not just Rose and Tracey.” This is also the second consecutive year that The Debt Advisor has been shortlisted for these awards after winning the ‘Debt Counsellor of the Year’ award in 2008. “We are all looking forward to the awards evening and are keeping our fingers crossed!”

Now in their 13th year, the Credit Today awards represent the original and most established awards scheme in the whole credit sector. They seek to recognise and reward top performers across the entire credit industry from individuals to SMEs to large corporates.

The 2012 award ceremony will take place on Thursday 10th May at Grosvenor House in London and is expected to attract over 1,500 key figures and professionals from the industry. The ceremony will be hosted by comedian, Al Murray.
